Photobook of the Year

Paris Photo and the Aperture Foundation in New York are proud to present the shortlist of 30 books selected for the Paris Photo-Aperture Foundation Photobook Awards.
2 categories are defined for this yearly competition, opened to publishers:

FIRST PHOTOBOOK: a shorlist of 20 works, first monographs published during the past year. the winner of this category will receive a 10,000$ prize.

Two panels of judges composed of Phillip Block, Chris Boot, Julien Frydman, Lesley A. Martin, James Wellford, Els Barents, Roxana Marcoci, Britt Salvesen (Curator and Head of the Wallis Annenberg Department of Photography and the Department of Prints and Drawings, Los Angeles County Museum of Art), Thomas Seelig andt Timothy Pruss will announce the winners on Friday, November 16th at 1.00pm.

The selected work will be displayed in the 3rd issue of the PhotoBook Review.
